DIVISION 1
Poulton, runners up for the previous two seasons, made a winning start against Stanley who were making their debut in the top division. The newcomers were unlucky not to gain a point as they were only beaten 17-7. Poulton's ladies were much too strong, easily winning all 6, but Stanley's men proved to be stronger as they won 5 to give themselves a chance for the bonus. However in the mixed, Stanley could only split 2 sets. Best performers in the match were Michelle Skinner and Elaine Higginson who each won 8 whilst all Stanley's men Lee Meakin, Steve Canavan and Reehan Khan won a creditable 4 games.

DIVISION 2
Hesketh Fleetwood C had a good away win 19-5 against Project 12 who were missing some players and also conceded 2 games. The ladies were evenly contested at 3-3 but HF's men were too strong as they won all 6. HF also dominated the mixed 10-2 including the 2 concessions. Ant Cross and Derek Hill won all their games whilst Chris Hutcheon was involved in all of Project's successes, winning 3 ladies and 2 mixed.

LEVELS
As expected there was an easy 16-0 win for Bloomfield A against their B team. Only 2 games were relatively close although the B fought hard in all the games. Eddie Choudhury and Richard Pascucci conceded the fewest points.

Despite the 14-2 score there were plenty of close games in the club derby between the Hesketh Fleetwood A and B teams. An opening split set was followed by 4 successive set wins for the A which included 2 tight games won on setting. The B then split another set before the A wrapped the match up by winning the final sets. Minoj Manandhar was the only player to win all 8 games.
