WEEK 2 REPORT W/E 12TH NOVEMBER

Division 1
As expected Kingfisher A easily beat their B team by 24-0 to briefly lead the table on games. Rachel Platt, returned from injury, to post the best points difference and be the best player on the night.

Division 2
Most matches between teams from the same club tend to be one sided but the match between Kirkham Charter A & B was the exception. The B's ladies won 5 and with their men picking up 2 games they led 7-5 after the levels. Both sides then won a set of mixed leaving the B still ahead 9-7. However the A responded by winning the next 6 games before a final split set gave them a 14-10 win. Ian Chase and Richard Pascutti both won 7 for the winners but best performance on the night was the 6 games won by Anita Driscoll for the B! Early days but the A lead the table after winning both their games.

In another club clash Hesketh Fleetwood B beat their C team by 22-2. Callum Hau from the C split both his mens but the other games,apart from 1 close mixed, were won comfortably by the B. All the ladies from the B won 8 games with Nicky Percy having the best points score on the night.

Levels
The match between Stanley and Bloomfield started evenly with both sides winning 2 sets for a 4-4 score at the half way stage. But, after a split 5th set, Bloomfield pulled away by winning the final 6 games. James Turton won 4 for the home team but Eddy Choudhury was again his teams top scorer winning 7.

Hesketh Fleetwood B fielded an all ladies team in a tough match against a strong Lids team and, despite winning the very first game, went down 1-15. Katie Kinder and Diane Atkinson with the solitary game for the home team but Will Booth and James Leigh won 8 for Lids for a comfortable win.
