Division 1
Monday night saw a first win for Lightning B against relegation rivals Kingfisher B. In the reverse fixture, earlier in the season, Lightning conceded 6 games due to injury in their 13-11 defeat. This time it was Kingfisher's turn to concede due to a missing player and so forfeited 8 games. The score went even worse in the mixed as they found themselves 10-6 down. The comeback began in the next 2 sets as Wan Desmond and Mark Green took all 4 games to pull the score back to 10 all. A split in the penultimate set left the match in the balance at 11 all. In the final set Helena Lempur and James Norman of Lids kept their nerve to win both games and the match! Kirkham's Anita Driscoll won 6 but Mark won 8 games to be POTM in a great performance! Lids now fighting with Stanley B to avoid bottom place with the sides meeting next week in a showdown !

2nd placed Stanley A drew 12-12 against 3rd placed Project 12 in an exciting game which went to the wire. Stanley's 5 wins in the mens helped them to a slender 7-5 lead after the levels. Project always pick up in the mixed and this was no exception as they took the first to sets to lead 9-7. Stanley then replied with 2 set wins of their own to regain their 2 game advantage at 11-9. Project's Kat Platt and Jon Jackson won the crucial penultimate set to level the match at 11 all. In the final set, Stanley's Mia Meakin and Reehan Khan won the first game 24-22 but then Sarah Coultas and John Wright easily took the final game to earn a draw for Project!
