3rd v 2nd in Division 1 was a very close match, in which Poulton did just enough in the levels to win. Despite the absence of their best player, Kingfisher fought hard, especially in the mixed, but were never able to catch their opponents. The handicap was recovered early on as Poulton ladies won by 30 and their men by 15 to be 15 points ahead after the levels. Kingfisher actually won 7 games in the mixed and by 7 points but just fell short of their target. Kingfisher's Chris Foote had a good match as he won 6 games, including all 4 mixed with Jess Logue, and gained 22 points. Newly crowned Player of the Season, Michelle Skinner ended with a 45 points advantage to be POTM, just ahead of partner Nick Hodgson on 42.
Kirkham Charter A v Hesketh B +50 - Kirkham won by 61 points.
The bottom 2 teams from Division 2 started with Kirkham trying to make up a 50 point deficit. Kirkham started well, as the ladies pulled back 35 points and the men 34 to put them ahead by 19 points after the handicap. Kirkham maintained the pressure in the mixed, which they comfortably won by 42 points. Kirkham's Emma Gilfoyle was the best player on +55 and teammate Richard Pascucci ended on +43.
